MARGARET HELEN ROAN, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, AB on August 31st, 2012 at the age of 86 years .
Margaret will truly be missed by her children Jerry (Jayne) Roan, Darlene Roan (Les Adams), Marlene (Garry) Williams, Merlin Roan and Roger Roan, along with her grandchildren; Jesse Roan, Jenny Roan (Carl Dangas), Nicole (Chad) Ferguson, Michanne Eichendorf, Laurie (Bruce) Southworth, Birdie (Dianne &Terry) Neudorf, and great grandchildren; Brandon, Breanna, Kassidy, Chelsea, Ava, Eric, Justin and Cassandra and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was born December 14, 1925 in New Dayton, AB.
She was predeceased by her son Doug Roan, parents Margaret and William Beaton, brothers; Art, Albert and George and her sisters; Florence and Ruby .
A private family memorial service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at 2:00 P.M with Michael Grey officiating.

So sorry to hear of your Mom’s Passing.We are thinking of you all.
I’m very sorry to lose this wonderful,precious woman who was in my life for 23 years until she passed away in 2012. I was her daughter in law for many years and lived next door to her as well. Margaret spent a lot of her time with her son Merlin, myself and her youngest daughter Darlene. Once a week we would go visit the 2 nd oldest son Doug. We had so much fun with Margaret. She loved fun and music and sure could cook. I will never forget her. She was closest in the family to my husband Merlin. I want to say how sorry I am Margaret that when you disappeared noone could find you. Jerry was hiding you out there away from Merlin,me and Roger and I bet you were lost. You didn’t like going to Stirling for 1 day. When we got wind that you were at Jerry’s in Stirling they moved you to Sylvan Lake and left you alone all day. My heart hurts they moved you from your known places to unfamiliar places to keep you away from us which I don’t understand. We helped you all thru the years, took you on holidays and made sure you had money. We found you In the Lethbridge hospital and you were so happy to see Merlin. You kept saying his name over and over. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming. Jerry and Marlene lied about Doug’s funeral as well trying to keep Merlin away nd him and Doug were the closest. I loved you Margaret and I miss you. I hope your “kicking the lights fantastic”up there💕🙏
