Mr. Nick Skaley of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Adelaide Skaley, passed away on Sunday, September 9th, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Nick leaves to cherish his memory his son, Melvin (Janet) Skaley; his daughter, Shirley (Jim) McCorkle; and his son-in-law, Dennis Betker; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four brothers; one sister; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Adelaide, Nick was predeceased by his parents, John and Eva Skaley; one daughter, Violet Betker; one brother; and two sisters. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday from 12:30 to 1:25 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Friday, September 14th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Dennis Betker officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Redcliff Cemetery.
