PROSK Bernice

BERNICE PROSK of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the age of 89 years.
She is the loving mother of one daughter Florence (Ray) Boeckx of Calgary, two grandsons, Grant (Janet) Boeckx of Vernon and Brent (Linda) Boeckx of Calgary and two great grandchildren Paris and Jane.
Bernice is also survived by three brothers and two sisters; Anthony (Anne) Prosk of Lethbridge, Steve Prosk of the Okanogan Valley, BC, Edward (Sharlene) Prosk of Calgary, Nellie Ban of Lethbridge and Mary Hoge of Granum and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernice was born in Poland and came to Canada at the age of 6, residing in Coaldale where she grew up. She was married and gave birth to her only daughter. Following her daughter’s birth, she moved to Edmonton and then returned to Lethbridge upon her retirement. She has resided here until her passing.
Bernice was a very family oriented person enjoying family get togethers, fishing, gardening and outings to the South Country Jamboree. She will be fondly missed by all that knew her.
A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. with Deacon Frank Peta Officiating.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon Frank Peta officiating.
Interment to follow in the Archmount Cemetery.
