I wish so much that I could be there today…But a promise is a promise.
First of all thank you to my Aunt Karen and all of her family for all of the care that they have given. We’ve been a family separated by distance since I can remember. Karen very bravely nursed Granddad through this. My heart aches for her loss.
The memories, they just flood my brain.
Granddad (Puga), was so many things…Always a comedian…always a teacher.
He was one of the most influential people in my life…I told him that. I don’t know that he really ever believed it. Without his strength though, and his ability to teach us that we can stand on our own two feet, well…who knows. He and I do.
I love you Granddad…I’ll miss our chats immensely. I’m happy that you are home now, happy and reunited with those that you loved so deeply and that had passed before you.
Until the next time, all my love…forever and ever. Stephie
