ANDRE LAMBERT

1926 ~ 2012
The family of Andre ‘Andy’ Lambert, beloved husband of Dolores Lambert, announce his passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, November 5, 2012, at the age of 85 years.  Along with his loving wife, Andre leaves to cherish his memory:  children, Leo (Donna) Lambert, Louise (Jim) Ells, Jean (Kathy) Lambert, Roger (Angela) Lambert;  brothers, Oliver (Alice) Lambert, Archie (Bernadette) Lambert, Emile (Ellen) Lambert, Raymond (Theresa) Lambert;  sisters, Marianne (Rosaire) Coté and Rosaline (Allan) Williams;   grandchildren, Anita (Rosey) Strong, Doug Ells, Joy Ells, Mark (Sarah) Lambert, Anthony (Kelsie) Lambert, Daryl (Justine) Lambert, Jennifer Lambert, Brandon Shaw, Jesse Shaw;  great-grandchildren, Tristan Strong, Coda-Jean Lambert, Halle and Brody Lambert as well as Lucas Lambert.  Andre is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents, Ferdinand and Anna Lambert;  brother, Jules Lambert;  sister, Laurianna de Roquigny and grandson, Jeffery Lambert.  Andre was born in Ponteix, Saskatchewan on November 7, 1926, and married the love of his life, Dolores Phaneuf on May 14, 1952.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 238 – 2 Avenue N.E., Medicine Hat on Friday, November 9, 2012, at 2:30 P.M. with the Very Reverend Father Long Vu celebrant.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.cooksouthland.com)  Honoured to serve the family is COOK SOUTHLAND Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4V4.  Telephone:  403-527-6455.
