Posted: January 14th, 2013With sadness the family of Norman Hala announce his passing on January 9, 2013.
His memory will be forever treasured in the hearts of his wife, Sharon; daughters, Sherry Mayer (Tracy) of Medicine Hat, Kim Hala of Regina and granddaughter, Cheryl Jensen of Calgary. Norman also leaves to cherish his memory a sister, May Wotta of Edmonton; mother-in-law, Dorothy Tracey of Medicine Hat; sisters-in-law, Donna Horvath (Francis) of Kelowna, Margaret Goulden of Lloydminster, Sheila Hala of Moose Jaw, Laura Grant of Regina, Hertha Hala of Chilliwack and Val Goulden; brother-in-law, Ken Goulden of Prince George, as well as many nieces and nephews. Norman was a devoted family man and those who knew him would describe him as a ‘one of a kind’ man who left many a fond memory with each person. He will be deeply missed by many. Norman was a no-nonsense man and lived his life fully and how he wanted to. At Norman’s request no memorial service will be held. He will be laid to rest in the city where he was born, Weyburn, SK.
