Mrs. Glenda Colleen Alen (nee Luedtke) of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at the age of 53 years. Glenda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Dustin Alen of Medicine Hat; her partner, Gene Froehler of Medicine Hat; siblings, Gwen Luedtke-Prince of Medicine Hat, Michelle (Valance) Dietrich of Lloydminster, Rhonda Luedtke of British Columbia, Jim Luedtke of Rocky Mountain House, Mark Luedtke of Lethbridge and Dwight Luedtke of Lloydminster; nieces and nephews, Kailey (Nolan) Duffin of Rocky Mountain House, Ali Dietrich of Lloydminster, Kyle Luedtke of Calgary and Dillon Luedtke of High River; and great-nephew, Jasper Duffin. Glenda was predeceased by her father, Art in 1999; mother, Fran in 1976; and one niece, Megan Marie Dietrich in 1990. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. An Interment will take place at a later date in Lloydminster. Memorial gifts in Glenda’s memory may be made to the S.P.C.A., 55 Southwest Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8, or to the Charity of One’s Choice.
