It is with deep sadness and sorrow, we announce that a dear wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, CATHERINE RUSSELL, “Pook-aki”, who passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her husband Oliver, her daughters Donna (Elmer) Soldier, Karen (Keith) Chiefmoon, Jackie, and sons, Collin (Wanda), Lynn (Alisa), Nine grandchildren, Seven great-grandchildren and a very large extended family. She will always be remembered for her kind spirit, generosity, and loving nature toward her family and friends. Her family was her main focus, always encouraging and supporting them in their endeavors and activities. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation in her name.
The Wake Service will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, April 12th, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
