BOSCHMAN Peter

MR. REVEREND PETER BOSCHMAN, beloved husband of Betty Boschman, passed away at the Coaldale Health Care Centre on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the age of 84 years.
Peter is loving father, grandfather and great grandfather of Ken and Sharon Boschman (Michelle and Troy Clark – Abigail, Sophie, Grace, Jillian; Robert and Kerri Boschman; Jeremy and Krista Boschman – Mason) of Leduc Alberta; Marlene Boschman of Coaldale, AB; Harv and Linda Boschman (Nicholas and Erica Boschman; Jacqueline) of Spruce Grove, AB; Norm and Janyce Boschman (Luke, Bethany, Claire) of Winnipeg, MB; Carole and Marvin Reimer (Lauren) of Lethbridge, AB; Gord and Therese Boschman (Tyler, Paige, Jared) of Loveland, CO.
Peter was born on March 23, 1929 in Delia, AB to David and Sarah (nee Boldt) Boschman. His mother Sarah died when Peter was 14 years old, and he welcomed Tina (nee Sawatsky) as a caring step mother. Peter also lost a younger brother, Henry, at an early age. Peter is predeceased by his parents.
Peter is remembered by his siblings and their families: David (Lena), Anne (Cornie Pauls), Mary (Allan Megli), (Lynn Barnaby), Frieda (John Dueck), John (Frieda), Henry (Grace); and the families of his predeceased siblings Margaret (Jim Opinko), (Jake Woelk), Helen Barnaby. He is also remembered by Betty’s siblings and families, Mary (Jake Thiessen), (Annie Geddert), (Abe Wittenberg), Dave (Hilda) Geddert, and Jake (Mary) Geddert; predeceased by siblings George Geddert, and Agnes Wittenberg (Harry Nordby). Peter is also predeceased by Betty’s parents.
Peter was a man of Faith, serving as a church minister for over 40 years. He was a man of compassion and wisdom, living out his faith daily, showing the way of the gospel to those in need. At Peter’s request, in lieu of flowers, please continue to spread the gospel with a donation to the Gideon Bible International.
A Visitation with family will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 17, 2013 at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH – 4717 – 24 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, at 11:00 AM. With Randy Dueck officiating.
