DAVIDSON Michael

Mike, beloved husband of Mavis Davidson of Pincher Creek, AB passed away peacefully May 26, 2013 at the age of 73.
Mike was a loving father of Michelle (James), Cheryl (Dom) and Jill (Joe). Proud grandfather of Taylor, Alex, Emma and Hayes. He is also survived by his brothers Dick, Peter (MO) and Bob (Marg.). Mike was Predeceased by his sister Carol, Nephew Clay, Father Red and Mother Audrey.
Mike was born September 12, 1939 in Lethbridge, AB, the eldest child of Red and Audrey. He was raised on a sheep farm east of Coaldale. His summers as a youth were spent outdoors herding sheep in the Daisy Creek area of the Livingstone Range. Mike often reflected fondly on these adventurous years. He attended the University of Missoula and the University of Alberta and obtained his teaching degree.
After retirement from teaching he drove for Cardinal Bus Lines to the Shell Gas Plant. He also volunteered for 20 years on the Pincher Creek Fire and Ambulance department. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, visiting, photography, driving and was an avid reader. Mike treasured his grandchildren and was a supportive and enthusiastic grampa.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday May 31, 2013 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 893 East Ave, Pincher Creek, AB, with Rev. Andrew Craig, Officiating.
