1994 ~ ROSE ~ 2013

Meaghen Georgeanne Rose, beloved daughter of Tom Rose of Bow Island and the late Angela Belcourt-Rose, passed away on Friday, May 31st, 2013 at the age of 18 years. Meaghen also leaves to cherish her memory her brothers, Christopher Belcourt (Michelle Dodge), Cory (Randi) Belcourt and their daughter, Summer, Curtis Belcourt (Selina Williams) and Sean Rose; and her grandmothers, Dr. Janet Rose and Delia Belcourt. Meaghen was predeceased by her mother, Angela Belcourt-Rose; and one brother, in infancy. Meaghen was born in Calgary on December 21st, 1994. She was raised and attended school in Bow Island. Meaghen currently attended Senator Gershaw High School. She loved school, music, art and crafts, the outdoors, singing and photography. Meaghen loved to laugh and was a social media butterfly. She enjoyed sports, especially volleyball and soccer. Meaghen loved the company of her family, friends, and her beloved cats. She touched the lives of many and will be forever missed. The Funeral Service will be held in CHERRY COULEE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, 422 – 4th Street East, Bow Island, on Monday, June 10th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. David J. Carter officiating. Interment will take place in the Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Meaghen’s memory may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
