FRANK REMBOWSKI

1927 ~ 2013 Mr. Frank A. Rembowski beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Rembowski, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the age of 86 years.

Frank was born in Poland, the eldest son of Marie &?John Rembowski on January 1, 1927. He married Mary Chebuk on June 23, 1951 in Edmonton, celebrating 62 years together this past week. Following Frank’s retirement in 1979 from the City of Medicine Hat Gas Dept and prior years with Halliburton, he took up farming in 1971 with Mary, where he resided until his passing. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and camping with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a proud past member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Eagles Club and Masonic Lodge. Frank’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of his wife, Mary; daughter, Shirley Lapp, (Rod Turnbull), her children, Suzan Lapp &?Shane Lapp; son, Dale Rembowski (Michelle Matz), his children, Carisa Rembowski &?Chayse Rembowski; siblings, Emily (Joe) Perepelecta, Suzan (Mike) Mereniuk, Jenny (Walter) Cabay, Metro Rembowski, Helen Choroszewski, Ed (Ann) Rembowski; Mary’s family, John (Elora)?Chebuk, Katie (Kost) Gramatovich, George= (Deanna) Chebuk, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Marie &?John Rembowski; son-in-law, Gordon Lapp; sister and brother-in-law, Ann Bala, Bill Chebuk and seven siblings in infancy. A time of visitation will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 28, 2013, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Barrett Scheske officiating.
