LARRY SALOMONS, beloved husband of Linda Salomons of Coleman, Alberta, passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the age of 69 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, John & Ikelina Salomons; niece & nephew Naomi and Alex, and his infant brother, Bert. Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He is survived by his daughter, Lynette (Nick) of Lethbridge; son, Glenn (Jamie) of Calgary; one daughter, Lynette (Nick) of Lethbridge; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brothers, Otto (Barbara), John (Janice), Ralph (Sherry), Bert (Cheryl), Harry, Eric; sisters, Janet (Bev-deceased) James, Alice (Bob) Klok, Tina (Gerrit-deceased) Meijeringh, Carol (Herman) de Woulde, Janny (John) Brouwer, Irene (John) Derksen, Diane (Brent) Rawlinson and Susan (Brent) Skidmore.
His love of life and people touched the lives of all those who knew him. His quiet courage, strength of spirit, creativity and sense of humour will be carried forward by those who knew and loved him. Larry had a never-ending ability to fix things. No matter what he was doing, if something needed repair, Larry was the man for the job.
A Funeral Service will be held at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614 — 5th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, August 2nd, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Mark Archibald officiating.
