SAITO Marie
Posted: September 19th, 2013MARIE (FUKAMI) SAITO, beloved wife of the late Ted Saito, passed away in Lethbridge on August 4, 2013 at the age of 90 years.
Marie is predeceased by her father Katusbei Fukami, mother Asa Fukami, brother Mac Fukami, and son Rick Saito. She is survived by her sister Chiye Matsumoto, brother Tom Fukami, daughters: Judy (Neil) McKinnon, Arlene (Bernie) McTighe, and Cheryl (Bill) Zielke; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Marie had a career as a seamstress for over 40 years before going to work at Sunburst Pottery. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, dancing and was a wicked scrabble player. Special thank-you to the staff at Edith Cavell Centre for the loving care and attention they showed every day to Mom.
