FINDLAY George

MR. GEORGE WILSON FINDLAY beloved husband of the late Christina Findlay passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the age of 78 years.

George was born June 20, 1935 in Glasgow, Scotland to George and Helena Findlay. He was raised and educated in Glasgow and joined the British Army in 1953. George was posted in many locations and was a Korean War Veteran. He married his sweetheart Christina in 1959 and they immigrated to Canada, residing in Lethbridge until his passing. George was employed at the St. Michael’s Hospital for 25 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed playing darts and dominos and golf with fellow members. George’s “witty banter” will be missed by all those who knew him.
