HEGLAND Richard

Richard Arlin Hegland passed away suddenly in his Vulcan home on September 10, 2013 at the age of 64 years. Richard is survived by his mother Agnes who was everything to him. During his life, but especially for the last 15 years, he lovingly devoted himself to her care and happiness and his presence will be sadly missed. Richard was a loving Uncle to Ginger and Gerald Deitz, Cory and Stacey Hegland and Jackie and Darin McKay and considered a surrogate grandparent by Nicole and Jaxson Deitz and Aliya Hegland. Richard is also survived by his sister Darlaine (Gary) Mahoney and their large extended family of children and grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his nephew Patrick Mahoney, his father Earl, brother David and cousin and best friend Barry Hegland.
Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Champion Community Hall.
