1923 ~ LEE ~ 2013

Mrs. Winnifred Lee, beloved wife of the late Mr. Warren Lee, passed away on Sunday, September 29th, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Winnie leaves to cherish her memory her children, Arnold (Joanne), Roxie (Harry), and Grant (Ruby); three grandchildren, Bart (Cathy), Kent (Tara), and Denver; two great- grandchildren, Morgan and Lucas. Winnie was predeceased by her husband, Warren; and her grandson, Mason. Winnie was born on October 2nd, 1923 in Chinook, Alberta. She was raised in Chinook and married Warren in 1943. They farmed until retiring to Medicine Hat in 1981. Winnie loved her family and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed all sports and participated in many. After Warren passed away in 2007, Winnie lived at the Leisure Way Group Home where she once again enjoyed the country. A Private Family Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, October 4th, 2013 with Reverend Blaine Schaufele officiating.
