Posted: December 16th, 2013Mr. Roy McCracken, beloved husband of Mrs. Naomi McCracken of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, December 13th, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Roy also leaves to cherish his memory one son, Broderick (Nancy); one daughter, Marcella (Larry) Morisseau; five grandchildren, Alisha (Ryan) Henderson, Cameron Morisseau and his fiancée, Amourin Edmundson, Dalton, Tess and Kyra McCracken; one brother, Donald McCracken; five sisters-in-law, Marie McCracken, Marie McCracken, Shirley McCracken, Isabel Stripling and Edna Schaufele, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by one son, Robin McCracken; his parents, Walter and Marie; one sister, Grace McCracken; as well as five brothers, Walter, William, Robert, James and Harold. Roy owned and operated McCracken Plumbing for many years and was a long standing member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore R.D. SE, on Monday, December 16th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at ST. PETER LUTHERAN CHURCH from 12:00 to 12:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in ST. PETER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 758 – 8th Street SE, Medicine Hat, on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Julianna Wehrfritz-Hanson officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in Roys memory may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Lift Fund, 758 – 8th Street SE, Medicine Hat, AB, T1A1M5. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend Roy .Roy was a good
friend whom I learned lots from and had
many enjoyable times .He will be missed .
