Janny Wind was called home by her Lord and Saviour on October 8th, 2014 at the age of 95 years.
Janny was born on September 1st, 1919 in Sneek, Friesland, The Netherlands to Hessel and Elizabeth (nee deVries) Boschma. She is survived by her six children, Ineke deVries, Liesje (Dick) Bosgra, Henk (Cidnee) Wind, Hessel (Denise) Wind, Cobi (Paul) Verhoeff, Tom (Angella) Wind, as well as 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren at 1:30pm and 2 great- great grandchildren. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, 301 Macleod Trail S.W. High River. A private family interment will be held at Highwood Cemetery. The family is very grateful to the wonderful staff at the South Country Care Centre in Medicine Hat, who treated Janny with exceptional care and compassion.
