Amy is predeceased by brothers: Joseph Linitski, Stanley Linitski, sister Helen Jones, and parents Karl and Mary Linitski. Amy was an amazing women, she raised a beautiful, strong, independent daughter (Karen). Then at a time in her life when most women retire (in her 60’s) she adopted and raised three girls (Germaine, Tracy and Barb) who each turned out to be beautiful, strong independent women thanks to her love, patience and guidance. She loved all her girls and loved even more spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved gardening and even won the top prize in Raymond for her petunia gardens that she raised from seeds in her green house and planted by hand every year by herself. She loved ice fishing and could out fish the men any time. In her later years, Grandma was diagnosed with Dementia, a disease that slowly took her to a place that we could not follow. Grandma loved and was loved by many people and she will be greatly missed. People were automatically drawn to her because of her effervescent personality, infectious smile and sparkling blue eyes. All those who knew her will truly miss her. The family would like to thank the Staff at Extendicare for their compassion, exceptional care and love they gave to her.
