It is with heavy hearts, the family of our beautiful and much loved Emy announces her passing on December 4th at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Named after her late grandmothers, Emelia Schwean and Mary Thorburn, Emy was born February 24th, 1954 in Herbert, Saskatchewan to Victor and Margaret Schwean. From the moment she entered this world, Emy left an indelible impression on everyone she met. She had an extraordinary personality, one that was larger than life and set her apart from others. Emys beloved and loyal dog, Ruby, will forever grieve her passing. Also mourning her loss are mother-in-law, Marlene Craven; stepsons, Mikki (Suzie and adored granddaughter Olivia) and Dustin Craven; brothers-in-law, Murray Craven (Sheri and nieces, Haley and Sarah and nephew, Joel) and Greg (nephews, Michael and Daniel). Emy also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends. Emy was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Margaret Schwean; father-in-law, Ron Craven; brother, Jory and first husband, Tim Grisak.
