DEURLOO William
Posted: January 2nd, 2015William C. (Bill) Deurloo, passed away December 27, 2014, at the age of 78, at his residence in Lethbridge. Bill was born July 7, 1936 in Claresholm. In 1942 his family moved to the Innisfail area where he attended Buffalo Creek School. In 1947, they moved back to the Granum area where Bill continued his schooling. He then attended Olds Agricultural College for 2 years before returning to help on the family farm and later purchased his own farm also in the Granum area. In November 2000, he retired to Lethbridge where he lived until his passing. He is survived by 5 children: Grant (Jeanette) Deurloo, Jim (Jackie) Deurloo, Sherri Deurloo, Lori (John) Van Eck, and Suellen (Neal) Konynenbelt; and 9 grandchildren: Cameron, Lyndon and Graham Van Eck; Kari (Steve) Kapteyn; Paul, Ted, and Jeff Deurloo; and Christopher and Benjamin Deurloo; a sister Joan Van Waardhuizen; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents: Chris (1985) and Rita (1991) Deurloo; and 2 grandsons: Justin Konynenbelt (1987) and Tyler Konynenbelt (1991). Interment will be at 12:30 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 in the Granum Christian Reformed Church Cemetery. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in THE GRANUM CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, Granum, AB with Pastor Jim Zondervan of First CRC , Lethbridge, officiating.
