REMPEL Marlene

MARLENE ANN REMPEL of Raymond passed away peacefully at the Raymond Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 66 years. She is survived by her mother, Ilene Rempel, brother Terry, sister Darlene and close and dear friend Candace Clendenning. Marlene also leaves behind 32 ‘great’ nieces and nephews. She always put her heart and soul in any pursuit that she undertook. She especially enjoyed her career as a teacher and coach and was an avid traveller, family history buff, reader and crafter. In earlier years she enjoyed synchronized swimming, volleyball, basketball and softball. In recent years Marlene has positively and courageously faced numerous health issues. She will be long remembered for her kindness and generosity. The funeral will take place at the TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Raymond starting at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Friends and neighbours may meet the family between 10:00 am and 10:45am prior to the funeral service. Bishop Greg Smith officiating.
