1954 ~ 2015
Linda Mae Wiest of Lethbridge, formerly of Enchant, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the age of 60 years, leaving behind her boyfriend, Ed Adams. Linda lived most of her life in Enchant, moving to Lethbridge a year ago, to reside at Columbia Assisted Living. In Enchant, Linda always enjoyed spending time with the seniors and loved nothing better than going for coffee to the local restaurant or to someone’s home for a visit. She loved family gatherings and holidays and was famous for her chocolate chip and Dad’s cookies. \”Missy\” was Linda’s pride and joy and she dearly loved her little dog. Linda faced many challenges throughout her life, things were not always easy for her, but she always faced each new challenge with a positive attitude. Her big smile, hugs and kisses will sadly be missed by all who knew her, or even to those who had just met her. She was a people person! Besides her boyfriend Ed, she is survived by her dad Cecil (Louise) Wiest; sister Judy (Duff) Dunsmore; brother Ken (Judy) Wiest; nieces and nephews Tracy (Jessica), Joline and Paxton Dunsmore, Steve (Kim), Pierce, Tyra and Jadyn Dunsmore, Craig (Bobbie) and Mikayla Dunsmore, Jeff (Kim) Wiest, and Kimberly Wiest (Sean Merkl). Linda was predeceased by her mom Olivia Wiest and grandparents Clarence and Edith Wiest and Rasmus and Rakel Hobberstad. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 — 4 Street South, Lethbridge. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the ENCHANT COMMUNITY HALL, with Pastor Jeff Frostad officiating. Interment to follow in the Enchant Cemetery.
