PREBUSHEWSKI

LARRY WALTER PREBUSHEWSKI, beloved husband of Lorraine Prebushewski, of Lethbridge, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the age of 73 years.

He is the loving father of Chantell (Rusty) of Lethbridge, Crystal (Stan) of Spring Coulee and Paul of Lethbridge as well as three grandchildren, Ashley, Brady and Caitlin. He is also survived by his brother Wally (Myrna), nephew Jason (Kara) and niece Michelle.

Larry was predeceased by his father Walter Prebushewski and mother Mary Prebushewski.

Larry was born on June 16, 1942 in Moose Jaw, Sask., to Walter and Mary Prebushewski. From an early age, Larry was top in sales in insurance and also started a career in car sales, operating two car lots as well as working for major dealerships. He was an awesome chef and started his restaurant, Prebby’s Place. He was famous for his BIG burgers and Ukrainian meals. Due to health reasons, he was forced to retire. Larry will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

At Larry’s request, no formal funeral service will be held.

    I am very saddened to hear of the passing of a great man. I only knew Larry for a short period of time but the time the we got to hang out was always interesting. I often think of Larry and wondered how he was doing not knowing how to reach him. Yes he is greatly missed.
    A note to Larry- I have kept my promise and the bet we made over 30 years ago. I am real sorry I couldn’t tell you face to face. RIP in my ol’ friend.
