It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Penny Marlene Hotel, beloved wife of Bill Hotel, announce her passing in Medicine Hat on Friday August 17, 2018, at the age of 61 years. She was born in Nelson, B.C. to Bud and Faye Cunningham and was married to Bill T. Hotel for just shy of 43 years. Penny will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of her husband, Bill; children, Ashley (Corey), Clayton and his daughter, Makayla, Chad (Justina) and their children, Colby and Tetlee; sisters, Deb (Larry), Gail (Roy) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Friday, August 24, 2018, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. A Celebration of Penny’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
