Posted: February 4th, 2019Brenda Louise Goldade of Medicine Hat, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 at the age of 63 years. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Karrie Goldade (Lenora Paradon); step-sons, Blair Robson and Quinn Robson (Brandi Kelsie); siblings, Terry Goldade (Sandra) Robin Goldade (Darcy Smigelsky), Todd Goldade (Sharon Goyer); and numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda was predeceased by her husband, Garry; parents, Phillip and Gladys Goldade; and her step-daughter, Carly Robson. Brenda was born and raised in Medicine Hat and graduated from McCoy High School. After 15 years of working as the Bar Manager at the Royal Hotel, Brenda decided to return to school and attended the Medicine Hat College for Office Technology. Following completion of her studies she accepted a position at Stark’s Plumbing and Heating where she worked for 19 years. Brenda joined Barbara running the front office at Stark’s and they enjoyed many years of camaraderie. When not working, Brenda enjoyed playing billiards but her true passion was golf. Over the years, she made many friends playing in the women’s league at Medicine Hat Golf & Country Club and Paradise Valley. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5, on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Brenda’s memory may be made to a St. Joseph’s Home, 156 – 3rd Street NE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1.
