WILSON
SHARON WILSON, the beloved wife of Morley Wilson, of Lethbridge, fought the brave battle Dementia, and succumbed in her sleep on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019.
Besides her husband Morley, she is survived by her daughter, Laura Hill of Calgary, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Richard Malaryk (Jean) of Edmonton; two sisters, Janice Balaban (Terry) of Calmar and Lori Filiatrault (Kim) of Round Rock, Texas, and her mother, Laura Malaryk. She is also survived by her dear friends, Susan Battle of Edmonton, Gary Wilson of Victoria, Linda Sieberg of Lethbridge and Gloria Soucie of Picture Butte.
Sharon was predeceased by her father, Bronislau.
Sharon was a nurse for more than ten years. She was a compassionate, thoughtful and honourable woman who loved her family and animal companions, including her newest puppy Blaze. She volunteered at Picture Butte Interfaith Food Bank for a number of years. She was quick to dance or laugh, despite the long struggle with Dementia.
Cremation has taken place. No formal service will be held.
