KENDALL
Monte KENDALL aka “Butch” passed peacefully after battling cancer in the early morning of February 12, 2019. Monte was passionate about fly fishing and enjoyed times on the water and outdoors with his family and friends. Monte was born in Lethbridge Alberta on March 20, 1943. He was the loving father of sons Mitch (Raelle) Kendall of Kamloops BC and Dean (Ellen) Kendall of Calgary. Monte was an uncle to 8 nephews and nieces, Kirk and Rick Evans, Jerry, Randy, Barkley, Todd and Lara Kendall and Jason Schnitzer. He was a grandfather to Mishel and Braden Kendall and Connor Baillie. Monte is survived by his sisters Lavonne Kendall, Gayle Schnitzer and long-time friend Val. He was predeceased by his parents Henry Kendall and Sally Bent, brothers Duane and Richard and his nephew Barkley. A celebration of life will be held at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street N, Lethbridge on March 16th, 2019 at 11:30 am. Donations may be given in Monte’s name to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michaels in Lethbridge.
