THOMSON
GEORGE THOMSON, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Lethbridge Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Burrows) and loving father of Nicole (James), Mike (Stacy), and Elly. Dear Grandfather of Kaleb, Onyx, Tyson, Katana, Mason, Taylor, Desirea, Ethan & Seth. Predeceased by his parents Edward & Audrey. George will be missed by his brothers Bill (Bev) and Jim (Linda).
He was a valued 25-year employee of Eatons Vancouver, and in his youth was an avid cyclist and racer. George spent his retirement years in Magrath and enjoyed working on tuning up bikes in the community. A funeral service and reception will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 21 East 1st Ave S, in Magrath on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 am. Cremation & private family graveside service at a later date.
