JENSEN “The last chord has been played, and the Maestro has laid down the baton”
Early in the afternoon of March 9, 2019, F. DEANE JENSEN passed away with his beloved wife at his side. Deane leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Zina Bennett Jensen, his three sons Brad (Valerie), Paul (Sheila), and Darren. Deane also leaves a legacy of love in the hearts of his 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Deane and Zina were blessed to enjoy 53 years of marriage and made their home in Edmonton, Regina, Victoria, Cardston, Lethbridge and most recently enjoying the community of Raymond Alberta. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Deane held many callings. A passionate music educator, Mr. Jensen taught music for many years with EPSB. Moving from music to supervisor of curriculum, Deane retired from the board in 1997. During his retirement, Deane enjoyed word working. A funeral for Deane will be held on March 16, 2019, at the Knight Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 11:00 a.m., with a family greeting at 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
