Judith Colleen McDonnell died from mesothelioma on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at the age of 66. Judith was a beautiful and loving person. She will be sorely missed by Tony Dimnik, her husband of 43 years; by her children: Kris Dimnik, Corrine Dimnik (husband Hamed Ghanei), and Sean Dimnik; by her sisters Faye Deol and Debra Braak (husband Sid); by the extended McDonnell and Dimnik families; and by all the friends she met during her too-few years with us. Judith was predeceased by her parents: Hellen and John McDonnell. Judith lived a selfless and peaceful life. Her grace, intelligence, caring nature and humour touched all she met. She was a remarkable wife and mother, a dedicated yoga teacher and practitioner, a gifted chef, a talented writer, and a graduate of Queen’s University. She spent her life advancing the cause of women through her volunteer work and yoga practice. Although Judith left us too soon, her light will live on through her loved ones.
