Ida Sturm passed away on Friday, May 31st, 2019 at 95 years of age. She was able to remain in her own home until May 25th. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 1973; her parents, Emanuel and Wilhelmine Bittner; 4 brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Betty (Leonard) Janke; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie (Daniel Mantei), Christine (Scott) Nelson, Ryan, and Catherine (Curt Ostergren); and 5 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Levi, Olivia and Emily Nelson, and Russell Ostergren. A Private Graveside service was held at Hillside Cemetery. The family would like to thank 5 West staff for their wonderful care in Ida`s last days and hours, as well as Home Care and Dr. Rinaldi.
