Sophie Knodel of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Walter Knodel, passed away on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at the age of 100 years. Sophie leaves to cherish her memory three children, Betty (Larry) Lutz, Dennis (Frances) Knodel and Norman (Naomi) Knodel; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Gladys Knodel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sophie was predeceased by her husband, Walter; her parents, Jacob and Katherine Zollner; all of her siblings and numerous in-laws. Sophie was born on November 22nd, 1918 in Kuest, Saskatchewan and married Walter Knodel in 1940. The Funeral Service will be held at KINGDOM HALL, 62 Valleyview Drive SW, on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
