ALEXANDER CHACALIAS

Mr. Alexander Chacalias, beloved husband of 67 years to Beverly, passed away peacefully at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on July 13th, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his son Patrick Chacalias and his daughter Connie (Terry) Hansen, his three Grandchildren and three Great Grand children and two sisters Rose Marie (Don) Maxwell of Victoria, and Callie Haley of Edmonton. He was predeceased by his parents Nick & Tillie Chacalias and two brothers James in infancy and Bill Chacalias. Alex worked for C.P.R. as a Fireman for a few years, and over 30 years at the Medicine Hat Post Office. In 1958, Alex was Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He loved to talk to people about the Bible and greatest joy was to share the scriptures about Gods Kingdom and how the Earth will be restored to its original Paradise as well as the Resurrection Hope. In following with Alexs’ request no funeral service will be held. Special Thank You to our Congregation who so lovingly supported us and gave us great comfort during this difficult time. We would like to Thank the Age Care Valley View for looking after our Dear Alex so well. Thank you to Dr. Wong for your kindness and special Care of Alex. So sorry for your loss. I worked with Alex at the post office and really a great person was enjoyed listening to his stories. d
