Mr. Laverne Clifford Jackel, beloved husband of Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Jackel, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the age of 78 years. Along with Betty, left to cherish Vern’s memory are his children, Shelley, Michael, Sharon and Mark as well as numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth; brother, Richard and his stepson, Steven Munro.
