COPE
JAMES (JIM) GEORGE COPE, born October 15, 1955, passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on November 3, 2019 at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
Jim is survived by his Mother, Elsie Cope, his brothers & sisters, John Cope (Brenda – Kathie & Kris), Linda Schwab (Jayson, Mark & Heidi), Kelli Broadhead (Jim – Kari & Amanda), Jeff Cope (Denise – Jeremy), Tabbi Bevers (Roy – Chantalle, Niki & Sharlee) and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces & nephews.
Jim is predeceased by his loving wife Lucille Cope (Louise, Chantele, Peter & Crystal), his father George Cope, his brother Jason Cope and his nephew Philip Entz (Shelbie).
Jim was a man who loved his family above all. He was fondly called the Cookie Monster by his family. He was a kind, loving and caring man with a huge heart. His beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew him.
On Friday, November 8, 2019, the family will have a private ceremony, afterwards a Celebration of Life will be held at the Cardston Legion from 3 – 5 p.m. All who knew Jim are welcome to join.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Society. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the staff on 4C at the Chinook Regional Hospital for their kindness and amazing care that was provided.
