PADOS
Posted: November 29th, 2019With Love we announce the peaceful passing of our Mom, Gramma & Great Gramma Margaret Pados (nee Weinberger & Kuntz) on November 19, 2019 at age 97 years in Victoria, B.C. Margaret is survived by her 3 daughters Theresa (Peter) in Moree, NSW Australia, Paulette, & Sandra (Greg) all of Victoria, BC. Also 6 grandchildren Jesse(Chris), Melissa(Gavin), Louise(Chris), Holly, Stuart(Jenni), Warren(Anetta) plus 9 delightful great grandchildren.
Margaret was born on February 23, 1922 in Maple Creek, Sask. one of 16 children. Although she loved learning her studies were limited in order to help her Mom sustain the needs of the large family. After marrying Paul Kuntz they moved with Theresa to Medicine Hat, Alta where Paul, a self taught carpenter, built the family home. They had 2 more daughters. After Paul’s passing in 1960 Margaret married Jozef Pados whose legacy is the improvement of Kin Coulee Park in Medicine Hat. Joe passed away in 2011 in Victoria, B.C.
Margaret enjoyed outdoor & indoor painting projects, reading, was an avid gardener and an amazing cook. She especially enjoyed her grand & great grandchildren. Theresa visited occasionally with her family from Austalia.
In her mid years Margaret dressed as a clown and joyfully entertained residents of care homes. She also worked at St. Joseph’s Home where her Mom resided.
At retirement Joe & Margaret moved to Victoria B.C. where family lived.
The stories of how people remembered her are a true testament to the strength, kindness and love that she embodied. Her beautiful smile will be remembered and cherished.

What I remember most about your Mom is her voice, her laugh, and the immense love with which she spoke of her family. She was so proud of all of you. I love this picture of her with her funky glasses! It brought a smile and some tears. Sending lots of love and heartfelt condolence to all of your family.
