Nancy Gaye Slaughter of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late John “Tex” Slaughter, passed away on Monday, January 20th, 2020 at the age of 73 years. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory three children, Barb (Keith) Hoffart, Curtis (Allyson) Doell and Alison (Jeremy) Akins, and their special big brother, Darren Cliffe; nine grandchildren, Jessie, Jenna, Keeley, Grayce, Seth, Hailey, Brooks, Sloan and Asher; two sisters, Leslye and Belinda; brother-in-law, Phillip; and three sisters-in-law, Maggie, Dawn and Ruth. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Lillian Atkinson. Honouring Nancy’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.
