Posted: March 11th, 2020Warren Heinz Seifert passed away peacefully in Regina, SK on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Born in Regina, SK on June 16, 1943, he was the oldest child of Heinz and Gien Seifert. He married Linda Wenaas, daughter of George and Esther Wenaas December 30, 1960. They took up residence in Consul and he went to work with his Dad at Consul Service Station. He took mechanic training in Regina and continued to work at Consul Service Station for his Dad until 1976 when Warren and partners bought the company and operated the GM Dealership and Farm Machinery Dealership until the mid eighties. Warren went into cabinet building and construction after the garage was closed. He taught mechanics and woodworking at Consul School for almost 30 years and loved every class he had. Teaching shop class was his favorite place to be. He was passionate about the community that he lived in and was involved with the village maintenance most of his adult life. Warren had a passion for going to Mexico with a team to build houses for the less fortunate. He made the trip 14 times and took family members on many trips to share the experience. He was extremely proud of all of his children and their accomplishments. He was predeceased by his parents Heinz and Gien Seifert and two nephews Cody and Troy Zentner. Warren will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Linda; three children Mitchell (Kendra) Seifert, Geano (Shelley) Seifert and Nicole (Eian) McNaughton; as well as his grandchildren Kelsi (Adam), Colton and Travis Seifert, Tenille (Brad) Harris and Alexander, Nolan and Bailee McNaughton and great grandchildren Ayden Ladouceur, Sammie Seifert, Summer, Noah and Finley Harris. He also leaves behind his two sisters Bonnie (Chip) Crocker and Darlene (Gary) Zentner and many nieces and nephews and their families. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held in Consul at the Community Hall on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Manley Officiating. Lunch to follow.
