FRANK MEYER

Frank Meyer, beloved husband of Mary Meyer, passed away at the Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at the age of 85 years. Along with Mary, his devoted wife of 63 years, Frank leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Kelly (Cindy Anton), Kevin (Tammy) both of Medicine Hat and Kerry (Darlene) of Redcliff; ten grandchildren: Kelly Ryan (Jodi), Nevada (Bill), Taylor (Chase), Devon (Nathan), Jimmy (Mary), Frank, Bryce (Holly), Brianne, Ashley (Derek), Milo (Tatum); 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken Meyer; sisters, Marie and Eleanor as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Rose; his cherished daughter, Kimberly; brother, Jake and sister, Irene. Frank was born on January 7, 1935, in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan and married Mary Miller on November 23, 1957. They lived in Medicine Hat and farmed in Fox Valley while he also worked in the Oil Industry. In 1974, they settled in Orion, AB., where they purchased a farm-ranch operation. In 1994, they returned to Medicine Hat to retire. Frank loved baseball but auction sales were his passion. His famous words to Mary were; “I couldn’t pass it up.” Frank will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A special thank you to Dr. Hirsch, Helen, Lisa and all of the staff at Riverview for the care and compassion they gave to Frank. It was greatly appreciated. So sorry to hear of Franks passing. I remember him as being a very warm & caring person always with a smile on his face. I also have such fond memories of being with the kids & your family when we were all a lot younger. Your all in our thoughts & prayers, sending our love & hugs to you all.
