2009 – 2020

Charles Douglas McIntyre of Lethbridge, beloved son of Lee and Heather McIntyre, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 13, 2020 at the age of 10 years.

Charles was born on July 15, 2009 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. He lived in Yorkton, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge. Charles went to school at Coalbanks Elementary School for the past 3 years. He loved spending time with family, friends and his pets, biking, camping, boating, playing video games and watching his favorite shows and movies.

Charles is survived by his parents Lee and Heather; brother Simon; grandparents Doug and Irene McIntyre, Charles and Sandra Weinhandl; great- grandparents Mildred and Lawrence Weinhandl, Gladys Zimmer (Krepakevich); Aunts and Uncles Dawn and Steven Iwaasa, Kara and Shane Dyer, Carl and Darcy Weinhandl, Amanda and Jon Carr; cousins Hailey, Andrew, Madison, Gaven, Theodore and Rayne.

A Celebration of Charles’ Life will be held at a later date.

Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

    Dear Lee,Heather, Simon, and all your extended family ,
    Words cannot express our sorrow at hearing of your tragic loss. Linda Ehrman called and told me about your accident. Lee, I remember you as a beautiful, kind little boy in Leader Composite School. It was truly an honor and pleasure to teach you.
    There can be no greater pain than losing your child. Please God give you strength and comfort to bear this.

    As I look for my friend’s obituary, I seen a happy young vibrant face looking up from the page not really paying attention, I thought it was a birthday announcement. Then I realized it was an obituary. My eyes are full of tears and my heart is hurting for you both and all your family. As a Mother myself, I absolutely can NOT
    imagine the full force of pain and devastation you must be going through. I had to stop and tell you how sorry I am for your loss!! I wish you all the best and can only hope your hearts will start to heal soon.
    Always remember your beautiful child will be with you forever and someday you will all be together again. Take care !
