Ethel Louise Ries (nee McKenzie) passed away at Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the age of 77 years. Left to cherish Ethel’s memory are her brother, Jack (Lorraine) McKenzie; Jack’s children: Jason, Leslie (Crystal) and their children, Skyler and Peyton and Alison and her children, Tessa and Brooklyn. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Pius Ries; parents, William and Eileen McKenzie as well as her brother, Howard McKenzie. The family would like to thank Dr. Hirsch and the staff at Riverview Care Centre for their excellent care of Ethel. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
