1948 – 2020

Marguerite Rondeau of Lethbridge passed away suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the age of 71 years.

Marguerite was born in Bonnyville on October 29, 1948 to parents Roland and Marie Rondeau. She attended school in Edson where she later graduated. She loved working as a Librarian and Hostess in Edson and did that for numerous years. She also enjoyed long walks, reading, making crafts, and volunteering at Blankets for Canada in Lethbridge. She also enjoyed the Bridge 55 Seniors Club and the Lethbridge Seniors Centre. Marguerite’s favorite places to travel were Waterton Lake National Park and Writing on Stone Provincial Park.

Besides her loving mother Marie Claire Rondeau, Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Pamela Greff; 2 sons, Brian Paul, and David Rondeau; grandchildren, Shanna, Tara, Katelyn, and Billie Jo (Pamela Greff’s daughters); Tristan and Kyler (Brian Paul’s sons); Colby and Mason (Brian Rondeau’s sons); sisters, Yvonne and Pauline; brothers, Joseph, Julien, Gilles, Fred, Leon, Hubert, Laurent, Etienne, Daniel and Michel; great grandchildren, Nash, Lincoln, Skylnn, Presley, and Brylee.

Marguerite was predeceased by her father, Roland Rondeau; brothers, Antoine, Therese, Rollande, Edmond; and grandchild, Tonisia.

A private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, with Deacon Bill Young, celebrant.
