CONNOLLY
Thomas John Connolly born on September 19, 1929, passed away on April 6, 2021 at Lethbridge, Alberta.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Alma Connolly, his son Phillip and his brothers Frank, Larry, Grant and Gary.
He is survived by his wife, Janet and his daughter, Claudia; his granddaughters Robin and Kyla Hart and his great grandchildren, Cole and Reese Barraclough; sisters June Peyton of Swan River, Kathleen Innes of Lethbridge, and brother Pat Connolly of Edmonton.
Tom was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan and lived there with his family until they moved to the Swan River Valley in Manitoba in 1936. The family farmed and eventually Tom began his own farming operation in the area. He married Janet in 1954 and they raised their children there.
Tom and the family retired to Coaldale, Alberta and later to Lethbridge, Alberta and resided there until his passing.
Tom enjoyed his retirement, curling in the winter and playing horseshoes in the summer. While playing horseshoes he travelled to numerous places in Canada and the United States. He also really enjoyed traveling to Mexico and drove his family to Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta on a number of occasions.
He will be greatly missed.
