1936 ~ 2021

Audrey Hazelaar went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the age of 84 years. Audrey’s memory will be cherished by her three children, Harold (Donna) of Invermere, B.C., Ron of Medicine Hat and Rhea (Ron) Hewitson of Nanaimo, B.C.; six grandchildren, Randy, Janine, Michael, Chris, Lindsay and Houston; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Casey, Pete and Harry as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Herman; parents, Arie and Maria Stigter; a daughter in infancy as well as her siblings, Lane, Rea and Martha. Audrey was born on November 29, 1936 in Honselersdijk, Holland and immigrated to Taber in 1952. She married Herman in 1956. Audrey’s favourite past-times included knitting, sewing, traveling and camping. She loved taking photos of her family but always seemed to be behind the camera. Audrey always put everyone else’s needs ahead of hers as she was the most selfless, giving lady. Her grandchildren were the most absolute loves of her life and she will be missed dearly.
