OHNO

TAMIKO OHNO of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at Adaptacare Nursing Home on March 21, 2022, at the age of 94 years.

Tamiko was born in Mission, B.C., on December 26, 1927 to Tadao Ohno (March 21, 1940) and Mitsuyo Ohno (October 22, 2006.)

She, along with 5 other siblings, and her widowed mother were interned to Shaughnessy, AB, in 1942. Later, the family resided in the Barnwell/Taber area, settling in Lethbridge.

Tamiko is survived by her brother Ted and her sister Rumi. She was predeceased by Kaz, Tom and Connie.

Tamiko loved talking to her many old and new friends. She also loved gardening, knitting, and crocheted many articles to be given away. She was proud of all her nieces and nephews, and very fond of her sister-in-law Sets.

The family extends their very special thanks to the office staff, caregivers, Doctor, nursing, cleaning and foods services for the excellent care she received during her stay at Adaptacare.

At Tamiko’s request, a funeral service will not be held.
