Jean was born in Medicine Hat and raised in Redcliff. She was a very talented crafter and artist, and an excellent cook and baker. Her pies were awesome! She had a beautiful singing voice and loved an old-fashioned sing-along in the living room or in the car on the way home from town. Jean kept busy by always working. She worked for Dominion Glass, as a waitress, at the park in Elkwater for 30+ years and even had the post office in her home at Thelma for a while. Later in life she took up fishing and gardening with Frank and enjoyed it immensely. All who knew her will remember her sharp wit, mischievous laugh and loving spirit, and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on September 24th, 2022, at 1:30pm at the Meadowlark Village Clubhouse, 1600 Strachan Rd. SE, Medicine Hat. Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to HALO by visiting www.halorescue.ca. Condolences may be made at www.gracememorial.com. Arrangements are made by
