It is with great sorrow that the family of Kay Stack (nee Goss) announces her passing on September 21, 2022 in Great Falls, MT.

Kay was born on February 20, 1940 in Browning, MT where she was raised and lived until marrying Dan Higgins, with whom she had 5 children. After their divorce, she met and married the love of her life, Al Stack, who embraced her five children as his own. After moving to Canada, Kay and Al lived and worked throughout Alberta before settling in Cardston, AB in 1985. Kay found joy in cooking and baking for her family and friends as well as her many hobbies and crafts such as quilting, cross stitch, crochet and genealogy. After her retirement in 2017, she moved from Cardston back to her home in Browning. Kay was always a pillar of support for her family and friends and her devotion to those she loved was apparent. Her laughter, kind nature and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Cindy (David) Taft, Randy (Sue) Higgins & Lyndee Stevenson & daughters-in-law Eunice Higgins and Darlene Flynn. She also leaves behind to mourn 12 grandchildren, 11 brothers & sisters, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

Kay is preceded in death by her beloved husband Al Stack, her sons Rock Higgins and Ron Higgins, grandson Eli Higgins, granddaughter-in-law Toni Crossguns, parents Orville (Avonne) Goss and Marguerite (Woodrow) Brown, and brothers, Wayne Goss, Orville Goss Jr. and Chico Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Starr School, MT on Saturday Oct. 1st at 11:00 a.m. Burial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at Willow Creek Cemetery in Browning, MT.
