Posted: October 7th, 2022 RIEHL February 20, 1934 – September 23, 2022 GLENN DONALD RIEHL passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Lethbridge on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Glenn was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Delphine, both his parents, Dave & Mary Riehl, parents-in-law, Ted Hopp & Helga Rose, sister, Bernice Romanchuk, brothers-in-law Walter Gorzitza, Bill Romanchuk, Gordon Hawley, Ivan Hopp, and nephew Darrell Gorzitza. He leaves behind three sisters: Laura Gorzitza (Vulcan), Rose Hawley (Calgary) and Jeanette Miner (Drayton Valley) and their families; one daughter, Barbara (Bob) Cole, and one son, David (Susan) Riehl, along with seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Barb and Dave will forever be grateful for the excellent, compassionate care that Glenn received while in the Chinook Regional Hospital, and while living two years at the Park Meadows Good Samaritans Long-term Care, Cottage #3. In honouring Glenn’s wishes, a private family service was held. The considerate, thoughtful and efficient care given to Glenn’s family by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Pat Siedlecki was very appreciated.
